Instructions for Use

Examining Weather Data prompts students to use spreadsheet software to organize and display data.

To use Examining Weather Data, click on a cell to edit or add new data. Use the buttons on the left to sort the data by different categories. Use the 'Calculate' button to update the mean, maximum, and minimum. Use the 'Clear' button to clear contents and the 'Reset' button to return the original values.

Most Wanted Toys is a spreadsheet program that provides tools for organizing, managing, and sorting data.

Most Wanted Toys starts with $1000.00 to spend. Input the name of the toy, cost of each item and the quantity into the text fields in the spreadsheet. The program fills in the price of the items, showing a subtotal, tax and a grand total. The money left over from the original sum is also given.

Consider having department store catalogues handy for students to use as a reference.
